Reports to: Field Operations Manager

Summary: Installation and repair of data and telecommunications cabling and equipment. Technicians should be well versed in various technologies and resourceful in challenging situations.

Core Skills

  • Install, terminate and test various low voltage cable types. Cat3, Cat 5, Coax, Fiber, etc.
  • Working knowledge of basic telecomm systems (Analog, PBX, VoIP, T1 circuits) install and troubleshoot cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic data systems. (Ability to install test and troubleshoot data cabling and connectivity)
  • Basic computer knowledge – installation of POS systems, back office and network equipment, either preconfigured or following installation documentations. Ability to implement configuration scripts provided.
  • Familiar with other technologies – CCTV, traffic counter systems, wireless RF systems and others.

Core Responsibilities

  • Read, understand and implement installation from the provided Scope of Work.
  • Follow schedule as provided by company systems.
  • Professional and timely communication – sending complete deliverables, communicating with both field and project management in a timely manner via phone and email.
  • Pulling Cable
  • Racking and stacking Computer Systems into Racks
  • Trim Work/Demolition
  • Unloading and Unboxing servers, cables,
    switches from shipping/receiving
  • Maintain company equipment in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain personal tool list (in compliance with company policy)

Requirements

  • Must maintain a valid CA Driver’s License
  • Able to lift at least 75 lbs. such as servers and AV Equipment
  • Able to climb 12 ft. ladder
  • Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel and/or walk for long periods of time
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and overtime
  • Able to travel as needed to various client sites

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salesperson to lead our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Salesforce and have a strong background in sales, particularly within the technology or telecommunications sectors. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to customer engagement, and a passion for achieving sales targets. This position’s role includes sales, business development, project management, sales engineering, and post-sales support. As a Sales Manager, you should be well versed in various technologies and resourceful in challenging situations and also capable and available for managing or supporting post sales activities.

This position is based primarily at our Campbell office, with the potential for up to 25% travel. Following the successful completion of a 60-day probationary period, remote work options may be considered.

Experience with setting up and working on Salesforce CRM is a strict requirement!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the low-voltage cabling and Audiovisual market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new sales associates to effectively utilize Salesforce for customer relationship management and sales processes.
  • Strategic account acquisition and sales optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies and marketing materials.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the technology or telecommunications sector.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce; experience with CRM tools is a must.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • This role requires strong leadership and management experience to guide and support team development.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting sales goals.
